Our mission is to minimise environmental impacts, use resources responsibly and continuously improve our environmental performance. Through collaboration with our guests, team members, partners, suppliers and communities, we strive to embed sustainability into the way we operate and deliver world-class live entertainment experiences.
Across our venue portfolio, Legends Global tracks and monitors key environmental performance indicators including energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, waste generation and waste diversion. Environmental performance is captured and reported through IMPACTS, Legends Global’s sustainability reporting platform, enabling consistent measurement, transparency and continuous improvement across our operations.
What We Are Doing
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is committed to reducing its environmental footprint and supporting Legends Global’s broader sustainability objectives. We achieve this through ongoing initiatives focused on resource efficiency, waste reduction, responsible procurement and environmental awareness.
Through our environmental and sustainability programme, we:
- Monitor and report environmental performance through the IMPACTS sustainability reporting system, including energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water usage and waste diversion.
- Implement initiatives to reduce energy and water consumption across venue operations.
- Promote waste avoidance, recycling and responsible resource management practices.
- Support sustainable procurement by considering environmental impacts throughout the supply chain.
- Collaborate with venue staff, contractors, event organisers and stakeholders to improve environmental outcomes.
- Review and continuously improve environmental performance in accordance with Legends Global’s environmental commitments and sustainability objectives.
- Promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable behaviours among employees, guests and partners.

What You Can Do
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and encourage our guests to support these efforts whenever possible. Here are some simple ways you can help make your visit to Brisbane Entertainment Centre more sustainable:
- Consider using public transport, ridesharing or carpooling to reduce traffic congestion, fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Visit Translink for public transport information.
- Use the designated recycling and waste bins throughout the venue. If you are unsure where an item belongs, please ask a member of our team.
- Help conserve water by ensuring taps are turned off after use and notifying staff of any leaks or faults.
- Reduce unnecessary waste by only taking the disposable items you need, such as paper towels, napkins and utensils.
- Where possible, bring reusable drink bottles and make use of available refill stations.
- Support sustainable event practices by following venue environmental signage and participating in venue recycling initiatives.
