The Sports Centre - Venue Hire

The Sports Centre at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre is versatile and flexible allowing for a number of configurations to cater for a large range of sports and non-sporting events. The venue can meet your complete training or competition needs and features a high performance sprung timber floor. Five courts can be operated simultaneously or create a “Show Court” with a seating capacity of 1,500 tiered seats with retractable grandstands.

The Sports Centre is available for hire by the general public as well as schools, community and sporting groups, corporate and event clients.
One-off regular bookings are also welcome.

TOTAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS

FIRST AID

No event can take place in the Sports Centre without a qualified First Aid Officer on site.
The Hirer is responsible for the supply & treatment of all first aid incidents throughout the duration of their booking.
This includes the supply of emergency equipment & first aid trained personnel.

VENUE REQUIREMENTS

Grandstand Hire:
Charges apply for Grandstand Hire, Set Up and Pack Down.


Seating:

Staging Requirements:
Charges apply for Stage Hire, Set Up and Pack Down.

Audio Visual Requirements:
Charges apply for Technical Requirements such as screens, curtains etc.

CATERING

Our Catering Manager will be in touch to discuss available options.
PLEASE NOTE: Strictly NO outside catering is to be brought onto the premises.

PLEASE NOTE:  Opening of the Snack Bar is subject to approval from venue Catering Manager.

TICKETING

Insurance

Hirer’s public liability insurance policy coverage must be a minimum of $20,000,000 or such other amount as agreed upon between Hirer and Centre Management. 

Booking will not go ahead if the Sports Centre has not received a copy of current Public Liability Insurance Policy a minimum fourteen 14 days out from booking date. Please forward your Public Liability Certificate of Currency as soon as possible.
