CASUAL USHERS - FRONT OF HOUSE

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is Queensland's premier entertainment venue and is managed by AEG Ogden on behalf of Stadiums Queensland. A multi-purpose venue, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre has hosted events ranging from P!NK, Elton John and The Rolling Stones to Professional Bull Riding, International Ice Hockey and Nitro Circus.

We are currently seeking individuals to join our team as a Casual Front of House Usher.

These positions will see you provide ongoing high level support across a range of functions within the Events Department to ensure the event requirements are achieved in a safe and professional manner.

Our Front of House Ushers play an integral role in ensuring our patrons enjoy a safe and memorable experience on each and every visit.

As an Usher, you will manage the movement of patrons throughout the Centre, including entry, exit and throughout performance intervals, maintaining high levels of customer service at all times.

To succeed in these exciting customer facing roles you will:
• Be committed to delivering high levels of customer service;
• Be a team player with a professional and positive attitude;
• Have the ability to take direction and follow instruction;
• You will aim to resolve patron matters efficiently with your superb problem solving and conflict resolution skills;
• Manage the accuracy of ticketing and accreditation system ensuring no unauthorised entry;
• Be able to work under pressure in an ever changing environment;
• Have the ability to act as a Fire Warden whilst on duty as part of the Emergency Control Organisation;
• Have the ability to embrace diversity, build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels;
• Have flexibility and availability to work a range of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays across our busy event schedule.

Please note: These are casual roles therefore shifts can be irregular and vary based on our events schedule.

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is currently seeking interest from individuals with a flair for customer service to join their Casual Catering Team, working across all divisions including kitchens, restaurants, functions, stores, eateries and bars during scheduled events.

We are looking for Food and Beverage Attendants, Bartenders, Short Order Cooks and Kitchen Hands who:
• Have a passion for transforming moments into unforgettable memories,
• Can thrive within a busy team environment,
• Are highly motivated team players,
• Have the flexibility to work a range of shifts,
• Have excellent presentation standards and,
• Have a positive, "can do" attitude,
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is required,
• Previous hospitality experience will be highly regarded.
